When the ball valve is closed, if there is still some medium left in the valve body, the high-pressure valve will also bear a certain pressure.

Before servicing the ball valve:

First, close the shut-off valve in front of the ball valve, open the high-pressure valve, then open the ball valve requiring maintenance, and then completely release the internal pressure of the valve body. In case of maintenance of electric ball valve or pneumatic ball valve, the power supply and air source should be disconnected first.

If the solvent used for the ball valve is necessary, do not argue with the parts to be washed and do not degenerate. If it is a special gas ball valve, gasoline can be used for washing. After washing, wait for the washing agent to evaporate completely before holding the equipment. The reasonable repair and maintenance can not only improve the operation efficiency, but also reduce the maintenance time and save the replacement cost. Before application, the overflow parts of the pipeline and valve body should be cleaned with water.

Prevent residual iron filings and other sundries from entering the inner cavity of the valve body. After the high-pressure gate valve, tighten all nuts slightly and firm the end with strength. If individual nuts are forcibly tightened first, and then other nuts are tightened, the gasket surface between the flange surfaces of the high-pressure stop valve will be damaged or broken due to uneven internal pressure, resulting in leakage of the outlet medium of the valve flange. Reasonable repair and maintenance can not only improve the operation efficiency, but also reduce the maintenance time and save the replacement cost.
